I am Rana Summers, I am a relatively new artist based in New Zealand who loves the natural world and loves detail. I want to share how I see the world with others.
I am not formally trained but I have attended some private drawing classes. I only started drawing in 2012 and watched many others come to class and learn. Most of us turned up to class declaring we could not draw and walked out with a sketch. I owe a true debt of gratitude to my teachers and the most important things they taught me – everyone is creative and if you want to draw you can.
I believe art is an essential part of life. Beauty is an essential part of life.
